The British School System
The school system in Britain is renowned world wide for not only tradition, but more importantly for it’s excellent academic standards. Students from all over the world hope to come to Britain for education of very high quality.
At InterStudies we cater for students attending the private and state school sector. It is a well known fact that the private - or independent - school sector, also known as public schools, which can be rather confusing - is world famous for very high standards and strong traditions, but the state sector also offers high quality education.

There are, of course, differences between the private and the state sector, but the school system in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland also differ from each other. In general standards are very similar, and one of the more notable differences is perhaps the Scottish 'Highers' exams, taken at the age of approx. 17 and still with the option of continuing with further education.
